Barrier Advisors Press Release Michael Gish Named Vice President

DALLAS (September 15, 2005) - Barrier Advisors, a provider of corporate restructuring, performance and finance solutions, announced the hiring of Michael Gish to the position of vice president in its corporate restructuring practice.

Michael has experience performing a variety of services involving corporate reorganizations, including restructuring analyses, pre-bankruptcy planning and plan of reorganization formation analyses for firms in the retail, manufacturing, service, airline and energy industries.

Michael joined Barrier Advisors from Deloitte Financial Advisory Services, where he served as a manager in the Reorganization Services Group, leading research, financial modeling and analysis efforts in corporate reorganization and bankruptcy engagements for debtors and their secured and unsecured creditors. Prior to joining the corporate restructuring industry, Michael worked as a mechanical engineer.

Michael is a CFA charterholder, and is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors. He has passed all three parts of the Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) examination, and is currently a candidate for the CIRA designation. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration degree, both from Southern Methodist University.
