Matthew Shafiezadeh is an Associate at Barrier Advisors. Previously, Matthew served as a Financial Analyst for Lazard Frères & Co. in Houston, TX concentrating on industrials, energy and transportation companies. During his tenure at Lazard, Matthew assisted clients in the execution of mergers and acquisitions, capital financings and strategic planning. Matthew has advised clients such as Continental Airlines, Plains All American Pipeline, TXCO Resources, Quanex and ECGPC. Prior to Lazard, Matthew held positions within UTIMCO in marketable alternative investments and BP in integrated supply and trading.
Matthew received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin, McCombs School of Business with High Honors.
