Mr. Gregg Imamoto is an Operations Director at Barrier Advisors and is a seasoned C-Suite Senior Executive with extensive operating experience. Prior to joining Barrier Advisors in December 2008, Mr. Imamoto was a Senior Portfolio Analyst at Highland Capital Management, L.P., where he was responsible for leading the Private Equity strategy initiatives within the consumer products platform. Before Highland, he was the COO for Bravo Sports, a distribution wholesaler of action sports and outdoor related products. Before Bravo Sports, he was the CEO for Quatro Composites, a R&D and manufacturing company specializing in innovative product development for the medical, aerospace, automotive and consumer product industries. He was also the CEO for BridgePointe, a business process outsource company specializing in branding, distribution and call center fulfillment. Mr. Imamoto is the former COO and CFO for Airwalk International, a distribution wholesaler of footwear and apparel for action sports industry; and beforehand the President of Easton Sports Mexico and Vice President of Operations for Easton Sports, a global leader in the distribution and manufacturing of high end sporting goods related products. In addition, Mr. Imamoto also worked for KMPG.
He brings a demonstrated record of accomplishment in global business with a specialization in financial turnarounds; including functional responsibilities in sales & distribution, customer service, product & brand creation & management, manufacturing & operations, sourcing, finance & information systems, human resources and administration. He has substantial experience in strategic planning, acquisition assessment, assimilation and organizational restructuring within multiple industries.
Mr. Imamoto received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Business from the University of California at Los Angeles and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California.
