David Boguslawski - Vice President Operations

Mr. David Boguslawski is an experienced Operations executive and Lean Six Sigma Black-Belt. Prior to joining Barrier Advisors, Mr. Boguslawski played an integral part for the Operations Team within Highland Capital Management L.P.’s Private Equity Group, where he deployed and executed process improvement initiatives within the Aerospace, Healthcare, Construction, Consumer Products, and Industrial Manufacturing industries. Before joining Highland, he held management and technical positions in manufacturing, engineering and quality for Lockheed Martin. While at Lockheed, Mr. Boguslawski worked within the Missiles and Fire Control division and earned accolades for leading his team to Performance Management Team of the Year and graduating from their Operations Leadership Development Program.

As a seasoned team leader and facilitator, he focuses primarily on identification and implementation of improvement projects that will significantly advance a client towards their strategic and financial objectives. His implementation experience centers on leading projects in a distressed environment where resource capability and capacity are stretched. Some of Mr. Boguslawski’s recent projects include: footprint consolidation, DSO reduction, key performance indicator (KPI) development, value stream mapping, quality assurance systems & controls, demand planning / production scheduling, preventative maintenance systems, throughput & utilization improvement, overhead cost reductions, project management office (PMO) installation, and new product launches.

With deep industry exposure in both Aerospace and Healthcare, Mr. Boguslawski’s experience in directly leading both organized labor and technical staff has been called upon to assess key leadership positions, processes and manufacturing facilities for multiple clients.

Mr. Boguslawski holds an MBA from Southern Methodist University where he earned a concentration in both Finance and Strategy, and he has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arkansas.
