David Prieto - Vice President

Mr. David Prieto is a Vice President at Barrier Advisors in the corporate finance group, where he focuses on corporate restructurings, recapitalizations, and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Prieto has advised clients in a wide range of industries including consumer retail, business services, manufacturing, telecommunications, distribution, engineering and construction, and aerospace and defense.

Mr. Prieto joined Barrier Advisors from Headwaters MB, where he served as a senior member in the Industrials Group. While at Headwaters, Mr. Prieto led merger and acquisition engagements, rendered fairness opinions, conducted valuations, and completed recapitalizations. Prior to joining Headwaters MB, he worked at Bear, Stearns & Co. in the investment banking division.

Mr. Prieto received his MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his BBA in Finance (Magna Cum Laude) from Southern Methodist University.
