Mr. Justin Adendorff is a Vice President at Barrier Advisors. He has served both debtor and creditor side clients in varied industries including Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare Providers, Entertainment, Industrial Machinery, Energy, Utilities, and Packaging. Mr. Adendorff's experience includes interim management, turnaround & operations consulting, restructuring advisory, complex modeling and valuation, and investor due diligence.
Prior to joining Barrier Advisors, Mr. Adendorff worked in Strategic Planning and Analysis, as well as Corporate Strategy for Energy Future Holdings Corp. (formerly TXU). He was responsible for analyzing monthly business unit performance, developing integrated and automated forecasting models, as well as models for performance evaluation, benchmarking, and risk evaluation. He was heavily involved in the strategy, research, due diligence, analytics, and modeling for TXU's new-build coal program, as well as the modeling and execution of the $45 billion leveraged buyout of TXU by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR), Texas Pacific Group (TPG), and Goldman Sachs & Co.
Mr. Adendorff holds a B.S. in Finance and Accounting (Summa Cum Laude) and a M.S. in Finance from Tulane University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and has successfully completed the required examinations and is awaiting licensure for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license and is also currently completing all requirements for the Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) certification.
